Win the Golden Ticket

The Organiser is operating and managing a Duty-Free Shop (the “DFS”) at Terminal 2 of CSMIA and selling the duty-free goods at the CSMIA in accordance with the Concession granted to it by the Mumbai International Airport Limited (the “MIAL” or the “Airport Operator”). The passengers arriving at and/or departing from the Terminal 2, of CSMIA are eligible to participate in the Win the Golden Ticket Contest (the “Contest”) on following terms and conditions:

ACCEPTANCE

The Organiser is operating and managing a Duty-Free Shop (the “DFS”) at Terminal 2 of CSMIA and selling the duty-free goods at the CSMIA in accordance with the Concession granted to it by the Mumbai International Airport Limited (the “MIAL” or the “Airport Operator”). The passengers arriving at and/or departing from the Terminal 2, of CSMIA are eligible to participate in the Win the Golden Ticket Contest (the “Contest”) on following terms and conditions:

DEFINITIONS

  • In addition to the terms defined elsewhere, in this general Terms & Conditions, the following words and expressions shall have the meanings set forth below, unless the context otherwise requires: -
    1. “Airport” or “CSMIA” shall mean the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai.
    2. “Contest” or “Win the Golden Ticket Contest” shall mean the contest organized by the Organizer at Duty Free Shop giving a chance to the International Passengers who has purchased duty free goods, articles etc. from the Duty-Free Shop of the specified value during the Contest Period and have filled entry form and submitted the completed entry form in the raffle ticket to participate.
    3. “Contest Period” shall mean the period between 7th December 2022 till 28th Feburary 2023 (both dates inclusive).
    4. “Contestant” shall mean the International Passenger who is a resident of India and has participated in the contest.
    5. “Coupon(s)” shall mean the entry form given to the Contestant for participating in the Contest.
    6. “DFS” or “Duty Free Shop” shall mean the duty-free shop being operated at T2, CSMIA.
    7. “Duty Free Goods” shall mean all the goods, articles etc. sold at the Duty-Free Shop.
    8. “International Passenger(s)” shall mean the person travelling to or from outside India.
    9. “Lucky Draw” shall mean the procedure of randomly selecting the Coupon.
    10. “MIAL” shall mean the Mumbai International Airport Limited.
    11. “Organizer” shall mean Mumbai Travel Retail Private Limited (“MTRPL”) who is operating a duty-free shop at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, Mumbai.
    12. “Prizes” shall mean the award and prizes distributed to the lucky winners and more fully detailed in Clause No. 9.
    13. “Terminal 2” or “T2” shall mean the passenger terminal 2 at CSMIA.
    14. “Terms & Conditions” shall mean the present terms and conditions governing the Contest.

THE CONTEST

  • The Organizer is organizing the Win the Golden Ticket Contest wherein the International Passenger shall have a chance to win the prize(s) as mentioned herein below.
    1. The International Passenger arriving at Terminal 2 of CSMIA shall be eligible to participate in the Contest.
    2. The Passengers purchasing the duty-free goods at the Duty-Free Shop shall get a Coupon.
    3. 1 (one) Coupon will be issued for every single bill amounting not less than Rs.6000/-. 2 (two) coupons for single bill amounting more than Rs. 9000/-, 5 (five coupons) for single bill amounting more than Rs. 15000/-. If the transaction is done using VISA card, then number of Coupons given doubles receptively according to the brackets as mentioned above but only if the entire single bill has been done using VISA card.
    4. One International Passenger can get maximum 10 (ten) number of Coupons irrespective of the number of purchases they do in the DFS.
    5. The International Passenger shall be required to fill in the details as mentioned in the Coupon and answer a simple question to get a chance to win the prizes.

ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS

  • Entry is open to all International Passengers who shops from the Duty-Free Shop at Terminal 2, CSMIA during the Contest Period and submits the completed Entry Form with all the required details.
  • The Contestant(s) should be over the age of 18 years to participate in the Contest and should be competent to enter a Contract as per the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Directors, management, employees, and immediate families of the Organizer associated with this Contest are excluded from participating. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child, or stepchild (whether natural or by adoption), parent, stepparent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, stepbrother, stepsister, or 1st cousin.
  • The Contestant should submit their personal details as mentioned in the entry form such as name, age, gender, marital status, passport details, travel itinerary details, residential address, mobile number, e-mail address etc. Failure to provide these details shall render such Contestant’s entry ineligible and void.

CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest shall begin at 12:00 am (IST) on 7th December 2022 and closes 11:59 pm (IST) on 28th February 2023 (“Contest Period”).

METHOD OF ENTRY

To participate in the Contest, the Contestant should:

  • Spend at least a sum of Rs.6000/- at the Duty-Free Shop (“DFS”) at CSMIA.
  • 1 (one) Coupon will be issued for every single bill amounting not less than Rs.6000/-. 2 (two) coupons for single bill amounting more than Rs. 9000/-, 5 (five coupons) for single bill amounting more than Rs. 15000/-. If the transaction is done using VISA card, then number of Coupons given doubles receptively according to the brackets as mentioned above but only if the entire single bill has been done using VISA card.
  • Fill in the Coupon, providing their full name, address for communication, passport details, telephone/mobile number, valid e-mail address and any additional information as required by the Organizer.
  • Submit the Coupons at any entry barrel located at designated departure and arrival location.
  • Contestant(s) can only enter once using a unique email address. All entries must be received by the Organizer during the Contest Period. The Organizer accepts no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, delayed, illegible, corrupted, or misdirected entries, or claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise. Contestants who enter using multiple email addresses or aliases shall be disqualified.

PRIVACY STATEMENT

  • All entries will be the property of the Organizer. The information Contestants provide will be used by the Organizer for the purpose of conducting this Contest.
  • The Contestant consents to the storage of their personal information on the Organizer’s database. The Organizer collects Contestants’ personal information to conduct the promotion. If the information requested is not provided, the Contestant may not participate in the promotion. By entering the promotion, unless otherwise advised, each Contestant also agrees that the Organizer may use their personal information for marketing purposes. Contestants’ personal information may be disclosed to the statutory authorities. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to the Organizer. If a Contestant does not truthfully provide all requested personal information, the Organizer may determine that they are not eligible to win a prize. All entries become the property of the Organizer.
  • Contestants consent to the Organizer using the Contestant’s name, likeness, image and/or voice if they are a winner (incl. photograph, film, file and/or recording of the same) in any media for an unlimited period without remuneration for the purpose of promoting this Contest (including any outcome), and promoting any products manufactured, distributed and/or supplied by the Organizer.
  • In the event of war, terrorism, state of emergency or disaster, the Organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Contest subject to any written directions from a relevant regulatory authority.
  • If Contestants opted to receive promotional and news updates from the Organizer (Mumbai Duty Free/ MTRPL), they may receive these updates via email / SMS / WhatsApp messages. Otherwise, all details and data provided will be held in accordance with the Organizer’s privacy policy. All entries become the property of the Organizer. DRAW DETAILS

12 weekly winners will get INR 5,00,000 (Five Lac Indian Rupees) Gift Voucher to spend at Mumbai Duty Free stores.

PRIZE DETAILS

  • Weekly Prize:

    The Contestant shall stand a chance to win:

    1. The 5,00,000 (Five-Lac Indian Rupees) amounts will be distributed in 20 (twenty) vouchers each voucher amount will be of INR 25,000 (Twenty-Five thousand Indian Rupees.
    2. Voucher Valid till 31 st December 2023.
    3. The Voucher can be redeemed across Mumbai Duty Free stores at Mumbai International Terminal 2 (arrival, departure, fashion, electronics including pre-order).
    4. Clubbing of vouchers will be entertained.
    5. The Voucher can be transferable and can be used against multiple passports.
    6. Each Voucher amount must be utilised against single transaction only. Partial shopping will not be entertained.
    7. NO cash refunds or credit note will be issued for any unutilised / balance amount.
    8. If any differential amount, must be settled by the customer at the time of billing itself. Mode of payment as per company policy.
    9. All purchased products must be self-carried by winner / passport holder.
    10. It is passport holder’s self-responsibility to clear any security / custom regulations.
    11. For redemption of the voucher the winner must share his / her international travel information (date, flight number) at least 07 days in advance.
    12. The winner will be escorted with a personalised staff for their shopping assistance.
    13. Pursuant to the implementing Rules and Regulations of India Custom “NO EXCHANGE, NO RETURN” of any product(s) can be offered.
    14. After Sales Service for any Fashion, Luxury or Electronic product(s), customer must connect with brand. Details as mentioned on warranty card.
    15. In case of any dispute Mumbai Duty Free will have final say.
  • Grand Prize:

    One KG Gold.

    1. The Prize does not include, TDS, comprehensive insurance charges, any other applicable charges and taxes, optional extras or any other accessories not specified, which shall be borne by the winner. The winner must have a valid Indian nationality passport and is a resident living in India.
    2. All other costs associated with the Prize, including but not limited to any transfer costs, additional taxes, registration, insurance, and other ancillary costs are the responsibility of the winner, as incurred. The prize is subject to any additional terms and conditions specified by the prize’s suppliers
    3. The prize will be handed over by the Organizer at T2 CSMIA or at an address decided by organizer and the collection of the Prize shall be at the responsibility of the winner.
    4. The winner’s responsibility to check his or her legal eligibility to receive such prizes.

PUBLICITY

The prize winner must, at the Organizer’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and consent to the Organizer using their names and images in promotional material.

EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY

  • The Organizer and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury or death which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this Contest or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law).
  • The Organizer and/.or any of its affiliate, group company and/or promoter shall not be liable for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Contestants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Contest; (2) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process of the Contest; (3) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries; or (4) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from Contestant’s participation in the Contest or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason a Contestant’s entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, Contestant’s sole remedy is another entry in the Contest.
  • The Organizer and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any damage in transit to prizes.

SOCIAL MEDIA SITES

The Organizer may communicate or advertise this Contest using any social media site(s) including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc. The Contest, however, is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, any of such social media platform. Contestants are providing their information to the Organizer and not to any of such social media platform. Each Contestant completely releases such social media platform from any and/or all liability.

NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS

The winner will be notified by phone and/or sms and/or e-mail and/or in writing within two (2) days of the Lucky Draw and their name and state/territory of residence will be published on Organizer’s website (www.mumbaidutyfree.net)

AWARDING PRIZES

The Organizer may require winners to provide proof of identity, proof of age and proof of travel itinerary. Identification considered suitable for verification is at the Organizer’s discretion.

DISQUALIFICATION OF ENTRIES

  • If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of that prize will be determined by drawing a further valid entry in accordance with paragraph 6, subject to the written direction of any relevant authority. The Organizer’s nominee’s decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into relating to the matter.
  • The Organizer may, in its sole discretion, disqualify all entries from, and prohibit further participation in this Contest by, any person who tampers with or benefits from any tampering with the entry process or with the operation of the Contest or acts in violation of these conditions, acts in a disruptive manner, or acts with the intent to annoy, abuse, threaten or harass any other person.

GUARANTEE AND WARRANTEE OF THE PRIZES

The Organizer shall not be responsible for the warranty and/or guarantee of the Prizes in any manner. The winner of the Contest shall be responsible to avail the warranty and/or guarantee of the prizes won from its manufacturer/service provider/dealer as the case may. The Contestant shall be liable to pay the amount of any extended guarantee and/or warrantee on the prizes. The Contestant expressly acquits and forever releases the Organizer from the guarantee and/or warrantee of the Prizes.

CHANGES IN PRIZE VALUE

The Organizer shall not be responsible for the warranty and/or guarantee of the Prizes in any manner. The winner of the Contest shall be responsible to avail the warranty and/or guarantee of the prizes won from its manufacturer/service provider/dealer as the case may. The Contestant shall be liable to pay the amount of any extended guarantee and/or warrantee on the prizes. The Contestant expressly acquits and forever releases the Organizer from the guarantee and/or warrantee of the Prizes.

PROBLEMS AFFECTING CONTEST

If for any reason any aspect of this Contest is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, mobile network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the reasonable control of the Organizer which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Contest, the Organizer may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Contest, or invalidate any affected entries.

UNCLAIMED PRIZE DRAW

In the event of the prize not being accepted or claimed within 7 days of the draw, the relevant winner’s entry will be deemed invalid, and the Organizer reserves the right to conduct such further draws at the same location as the original draw as are necessary to distribute the prize. Any winner in this draw will be notified by phone/sms/what’s app message/e-mail and in writing within 2 days of the draw and will have their name and address state/territory of residence published on www.mumbaidutyfree.net

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Terms & Conditions, or the rights and obligations of the Contestant and the Organizer in connection with the Contest, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the India and the court at Mumbai shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

ORDER AND ACCEPTANCE

  • Each order submitted constitutes an offer to purchase products. Orders are subject to Mumbai Duty Free acceptance and may be refused at Mumbai Duty Free discretion, for example in cases where:
    • All the orders are considered to be accepted post a valid confirmation code is received by the customer.
    • Orders cannot be processed due to an error in information you have provided;
    • There is an error on the web shop relating to the products that you have ordered, for example an error relating to the price or description of the product as displayed on the web shop.
    • The delivery of the product is subject to production of Confirmation code generated by Mumbai Duty Free, boarding pass and the Passport of the buyer.
  • After Mumbai Duty Free receives your order, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your order. If you do not receive an email, contact Mumbai Duty Free before you try to place another order for the same product.
  • All the payments as mentioned and confirmed by Mumbai Duty Free shall be paid over the counter while receiving the product.

ALCOHOL POLICY

  • Mumbai Duty Free allows access to liquor portal to bonafide international passengers only who are above the age of 25 years. By accessing the liquor portal of the website, the user swears and affirms that the user is bonafide international passenger and above the age of 25 years.
  • In case of misrepresentation, a legal action might be taken against the user as per the laws of the land.
  • By accessing the liquor portal of the website, the user agrees that any liquor reserved by him/her is intended for user’s personal consumption and not for resale.
  • There has been no advertisement, personal communication, solicitation, invitation or inducement of any sort whatsoever by the Mumbai Duty Free to solicit any sales of liquor through this website.
  • The user wish to gain information for his/her information and use.
  • The information is being provided to the user at user’s specific request. The information obtained or material downloaded from this portal is completely at the user’s volition.
  • The information provided under this portal is solely available at user’s request for informational purposes only, should not be interpreted as soliciting or advisement.
  • The user can obtain delivery of liquor booked by him/her from our duty free shops at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport, Mumbai only after verification of details submitted by user by our staff.

REFUND POLICY

Mumbai Duty Free accepts refunds subject to the following terms and conditions:

  • We will accept claims within 30days from date of purchase
  • The original / email invoice should be produced / submitted at the time of any claims
  • No Cash refund would be issued against any merchandise
  • Any Promotional offer / scheme running at the time when initial merchandise was purchased would NOT be applicable on exchange / Refund
  • The company shall not be liable to pay damage / compensation in the event of any technical glitch / non-booking of order / non-delivery of products towards pre-orders booked through website.
  • The company liability shall only be limited to the refunds of the amount paid (reference clause under Order and Acceptance) by the customer at the time of pre-order booking.
  • We do not refund any perishable items, raffle tickets, pre-paid cards and high value items where there is difficulty in guaranteeing the authenticity.
  • The amount will be refunded /reimbursed to the same credit card through which transaction was completed.
  • Credit card refund for products which meet the refund criteria explained above will be processed within three to four working weeks or specified as per the card merchant.
  • We reserve right:
    • to request identification
    • to determine whether the merchandise has been damaged, abused or used.

  • You shall indemnify and hold harmless to Mumbai Duty Free and (as applicable) Mumbai Travel Retail Private Limited subsidiaries, affiliates, third-parties and their respective officers, directors, agents, and employees, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including attorney's fees, caused by or arising out of claims based upon the use of User's actions or inactions, including but not limited to any warranties, representations or undertakings or in relation to the non-fulfilment of any of its obligations under this Agreement or arising out of the User's infringement of any applicable laws, regulations including but not limited to Intellectual Property Rights, payment of statutory dues and taxes, claim of libel, defamation, violation of rights of privacy or publicity, loss of service by other subscribers and infringement of intellectual property or other rights.

GOVERNING LAW

  • These T&C shall be governed by and constructed in accordance with the laws of India without reference to conflict of laws principles and disputes arising in relation hereto shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai.
